The pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela can start from different points in Spain, and there is an atypical route that starts from Mallorca.
Although not as famous as the other camino routes, it is becoming increasingly popular as it offers unique experiences to pilgrims from Mallorca. During the walk, the wanderer touches different points of the island, so it is possible to visit picturesque sanctuaries, among others, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view.
The more than 60-kilometer route can be divided into four different sections.
Stage 1: Santuari de Lluc - Caimari (18 km)
Stage 2: Caimari - Lloseta (18 km)
Stage 3: Lloseta - Santa MarÃa del Camino (15 km)
Stage 4: Santa MarÃa del Camino - Palma (15 km)
This section of the pilgrimage ends in Palma de Mallorca, where there is a direct sea connection to Denia.
