The Botanicactus botanical garden is a popular tourist spot on the south coast of Mallorca. It covers an area of 150,000 m² and is home to around 12,000 plants from different vegetation zones.
Tropical jungle plants grow almost side by side with subtropical vegetation and typical desert vegetation. Many plants flourish from the tropical vegetation zones of the Earth, and in a larger area we can get to know Mallorca's Mediterranean vegetation: gnarled olive trees, pines, pomegranates, eucalyptus trees and citrus fruits. The desert-like area is home to 400 species of cacti.
An artificial lake has been created in a part of the botanical garden, which on the one hand supplies the tropical plants with water, and on the other hand invites the visitor to spend some time.
